Hi there! I'm Sylvia Corzato
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist, Parent Coach, Mother of two and founder of Success in Steps.
I received my Masters in Counselling Psychology (M.A.C.P) with distinction from Yorkville University. Prior to pursuing my master’s, I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a focus on child development and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a focus on non-verbal communication and cultural diversity from Carleton University.
In between my undergrad and graduate studies, I have been supporting individuals and their families in various private and public health settings for over 20 years. During this time I have equally had the opportunity and pleasure to be featured in various magazines and news articles relating to mental health, family connections, parenting challenges and concerns, in addition to striving to obtain work life balance. I have participated in expert discussions and panels, offered workshops to the Federal Government, private sectors, school boards and corporate events and have participated in various Parenting Expert Segments on CTV Morning Live Ottawa over the years.
Success in Steps was founded in 2016 in response to a growing need for a tailored approach to support parents. Over the years, our services have evolved.
Whether it’s offering you individual counselling or speaking to you in a larger group, my mission remains the same, to provide you with compassionate support that will lead to growth, connection and harmony.
I am pleased to offer in-person and virtual psychotherapy and coaching services in English.
